Anti-Corruption Strategy Support Of Georgia (GEPAC)

The GEPAC Project -'Anti-corruption Strategy Support of Georgia' - started on 1 September 2007 and terminated on 30 March 2010. Major partner institution is the State Chancellery of Georgia and the beneficiaries are the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Ministry of Justice andanti-corruption Coordination Council.

GEPAC Project aims at strengthening Georgian institutions' capacities in their anti-corruption efforts through the implementation of the Anti-corruption Strategy and Action Plan.

GEPAC Project is funded on a voluntary contribution of the Ministry for Development Co-operation of the Netherlands. GEPAC has promoted technical co-operation among different law-enforcement and penitentiary services.

The Project has also provides support to implementation of recommendations addressed to Georgia by the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO).
