Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in close coordination with the relevant units of the Ministry, within the framework of complex measures carried out in recent days, deported 15 foreign citizens from Georgia.
A total of 15 citizens were deported from Georgia - from Turkey, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, China, India, Jordan, Egypt, Romania, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Iran and Russia. In accordance with the current legislation, the deported persons were banned from entering the country.
The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is the body responsible for combating illegal migration within the country. One of its competencies is to identify foreign citizens who are in Georgia without legal basis and to carry out their deportation from Georgia.
