The officers of Bolnisi Police Division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained R.M. (DoB 1971) as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities.
The mentioned person is accused of inflicting severe health injury to a family member, resulting in loss of life.
The committed crime envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person physically assaulted his wife, S.I. (DoB1981), on June 12, in the village of Nakhiduri, Bolnisi Municipality, as a result of which the woman lost consciousness and died before being transferred to the hospital.
Police arrested R.M. as a result of immediate police activities.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of inflicting severe health injury to a family member, resulting in loss of life, article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
