Officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained a person, born in 1969.
Committed crime envisages up to 3 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that being under the influence of alcohol G.G. verbally and physically assaulted his mother- E.G. (DoB 1950). The mentioned incident was reported to police by the detainee’s neighbor.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of violence against family member perpetrated multiple times- article 1261 II part, sub-paragraph “E” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
