As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Khobi Police Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 2 persons on charges of drug crimes.
N.K., born in 1976, and I.G., born in 1976, are arrested for illegal purchase and storage of large and especially large amounts of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
The committed crimes envision up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
During the personal search of those arrested on charges of drug crimes, law enforcement officers seized a particularly large amount of the narcotic drug "Suboxine" and the psychotropic drug "Lyrica" as evidence.
The investigation is ongoing under Article 260, Part 2, Subparagraph "b", Article 3, Subparagraph "a", and Article 261, Part 2, Subparagraph "b" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
