The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia - Geka Geladze, together with the delegation, paid an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the visit, the Minister held a meeting with his Azerbaijani colleague, Vilayat Eyvazov. The parties discussed the existing partnership between the two countries in the field of law enforcement and the prospects for its further enhancement.
The discussion also touched upon the security issues of the South Caucasus region, the cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Azerbaijan in the fight against organized crime and the strengthening of the institute of the Police Attaches.
At the end of the meeting, Geka Geladze expressed gratitude to his Azerbaijani colleague for the fruitful cooperation and extended his invitation for a visit to Georgia.
