Ministry of Internal Affairs has returned “Ford Transit” minivan to its legal owner Vazha katamadze. The vehicle was seized as evidence in connected with the criminal case investigation launched in 2011. The citizen was affected as a result of purchasing an imported vehicle which was registered at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. After purchasing the vehicle it was established that identification number on the vehicle was altered which was the solid reasons to launch investigation
In 2014, as a result of joint activities held by MIA and Prosecutor’s Office it was confirmed that the vehicle was purchased legally. Law enforcers excluded any possibility of being involved in illegal activities
On the basis of the abovementioned Ministry of Internal Affairs made an decision to return the minivan “Ford Transit” to its legal owner.
