The officers of Kakheti police department as a result of operative and investigative activities detained G.K. (DoB 1973) in Tamariani village for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition
During the searching activities held in detainee’s house law enforcers seized 660 bullets and unregistered hunting rifle. The mentioned firearm and ammunition is suitable for shooting according to the results of the expertise. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, Ii part of the Criminal Code.
