The officers of Mestia Regional Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the MIA, as a result of operative-investigational measures detained Tengiz Ts. (D.o.B.: 1970) in Chuberi for illegal purchase and storage of firearm.
During the search of the detainee’s house the law enforcers seized “AKS” automatic firearm, 1 magazine and 9 cartridges. The detainee has pleaded guilty.
Investigation is underway over the act of illegal purchase and storage of firearms (II part of the article 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
