The officers of Mestia police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Pollice Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained G.R. (DoB 1995) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearm and ammunition.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s house law enforcers seized AK-74 automatic weapon with a magazine and 7 bullets.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearm and ammunition, article 236, II part of the Criminal Code.
