The officers of the Detectives Division of Tbilisi Police Department and the officers of Isani-Samgori Division of the MIA as a result of jointly conducted operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Levan B. (DoB: 1989) for premeditated murder in Tbilisi.
The investigation established that the detainee being under alcohol influence in Kindzmarauli Street, Isani-Samgori district of Tbilisi, as a result of conflict inflicted multiple injuries with a cold arm to Igor N. (DoB: 1971) and fled from the crime scene. Igor N. died on the spot.
Law enforcers detained the accused in a few minutes, while the weapon of a crime – knife – was seized as an evidence.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
