The officers of Tbilisi Bureau of Interpol along with Central Criminal Police Department as a result of jointly held operative-searching activities detained Azerbaijani citizen G.I. (DoB 1961) wanted worldwide under the red notice from 2015.
G.I. is accused of crimes envisaged by the Azerbaijani Criminal Code, article 213.2.2 which stands for avoiding paying taxes in large amounts.
At this moment pre-extradition procedures are underway against the detainee.
