The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri, held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia, Mahmud Adib.
Vakhtang Gomelauri congratulated the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran on his appointment and wished him success in his future activities.
During the meeting, parties stressed the importance of bilateral police cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of two countries and expressed hope that with the joint efforts existing partnership will be further enhanced in the future.
