ENHANCING THE CAPACITIES FOR IDENTIFICATION OF VICTIMS OF TRAFFICKING IN ADJARA AND KVEMO KARTLI

The main goal:

To strengthen the capacities of employees of law-enforcement agencies in the field of combating trafficking;

The main objectives:

  • Creation of special Task Force that will include 7 investigators and 5 prosecutors who will cooperate to combat trafficking in Adjara Region.
  • Proactive detection of crime, efficient investigation and criminal prosecution by Task Force.

The main activities:

  • To organize 3 trainings for investigators, prosecutors and judges
  • three-day training on contemporary methods of proactive detection of crime, investigation and criminal prosecution under the guidance of international expert;
  • two seminars for representatives of referral mechanism agencies;
  • two seminars/trainings for judges;
  • three seminars for local public sector, journalists, employees of law-enforcement agencies and judges;
  • To prepare and spread multilingual press material;
  • To organize the final conference.
