As a result of immediate operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested 2 persons - N.Q., born in 1981, and A.Q., born in 1955, on charges of domestic violence committed against a minor in a group with a prior knowledge.
The committed crime envisions up to 3 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the minor, born in 2017, was physically abused by his mother and grandmother.
The minor has multiple injuries on various parts of his body as a result of violence.
Law enforcement officers arrested both defendants as a result of immediate investigative actions.
The investigation is underway under Article 126, Part II, Subparagraphs “A” and “D” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
