As a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted at different times, officers of Imereti Police Department and Terjola Police Division the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested 3 persons on charges of drug crimes.
K.Sh., born in 1976, V.K., born in 1977, and I.Zh., born in 1976, who had previously been convicted and is currently under probation, are charged with repeatedly attempting to illegally purchase, store and sell large and especially large amounts of narcotic drugs by a group with prior agreement.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
Law enforcement officers seized a particularly large amount of narcotics "Methadone" and "Alpha-PVP" in the course of the search of the personal belongings, vehicles, and homes of those arrested on drug charges.
As a result of the investigative actions, the police seized materials necessary for sorting narcotics as evidence.
The investigation is ongoing under Article 260, III and VI parts, as well as Article 19-260 V and VII of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
