As a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted at different times, officers of Didube-Chughureti and Old Tbilisi Police Main Divisions under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested 3 people on drug charges.
On charges of illegal purchase, storage, manufacture, sale, preparation for sale and attempt to sell a particularly large amount of narcotic drugs, T.Sh., born in 1983, a citizen of the Russian Federation, A.K., born in 1998, and G.Ts., born in 1992, who had a previous conviction and is currently under probation, were arrested.
The crimes envision up to 20 years of imprisonment.
As a result of the personal search of the accused persons and during the investigative experiment conducted, law enforcement officers seized the narcotic drugs “Methadone”, “MDMA” and psychotropic substances placed for sale as evidence from the locations indicated by them.
The investigation is underway under Articles 260, 18-260, 19-260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
